We are looking for new colleagues to join our fast-growing Simon-Kucher Engine team as (Senior) Quality Assurance Engineer!

How you will create an impact

Ensuring delivery of high-quality software solutions to our customers
Ensuring quality from beginning by reviewing software requirements
Defining a test strategy for our solutions and implement this strategy together with the product and engineering team
Helping the engineering team in identify, reproducing and solving quality issues
Preparation of test reports

About you

You have a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related field
> 4 years of working experience in software quality assurance and academic degree in computer science or similar domain
Thorough understanding of software testing methodologies, QA tools and agile principles
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into test cases
Test automation experience using respective tools (e.g. Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, JMeter)
Experience with databases and writing SQL queries is preferred.
Familiar with JIRA or other similar platforms
Capable of running functional tests whether manual or automated
Capable of running non-functional tests like performance and security
ISTQB certificate is preferred
Professional level written and spoken English, German is a plus
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills, including ability to think outside the box
