Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Musaffah for a Stainless Steel Finisher. The Stainless Steel Finisher will prepare, grind, sand, polish, and finish stainless steel parts, panels, and structures to achieve specified textures and appearance. Responsibilities include reading and following work instructions or basic drawings, inspecting surfaces for defects, and correcting imperfections through appropriate finishing techniques. The role involves safe operation of hand and power tools, mixing and applying finishing materials where required, and coordinating with fabricators and supervisors to meet production schedules. The finisher will maintain a clean work area, follow all safety and quality procedures, and assist in basic maintenance of tools and equipment.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with power tools used for metal finishing (e.g., grinders, sanders, polishers) and ability to operate them safely.
• Experience with painting or surface finishing processes, including preparation, application of paint or coatings, and touch-ups as needed.
• Background in working with stainless steel or metal furniture, fixtures, and custom fabrications is preferred.
• Willingness to participate in on-the-job training and continuously develop finishing techniques and product knowledge.
• Ability to read and follow basic technical instructions or drawings, with strong attention to detail and quality standards.
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, handle tools, and lift materials in a workshop environment, following safety guidelines.
• Previous experience in metal fabrication, carpentry, or industrial finishing is an advantage.
• Basic communication skills in English; ability to work effectively in a team and follow supervisory guidance.
