About The Opportunity
Are you a detail-oriented and proactive accounting professional with a strong background in financial management and compliance We are hiring an
experienced Accountant to oversee day-to-day financial operations, inventory accounting, and statutory compliance for a reputed diamond and jewelry trading business in Dubai.

Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and ledgers
- Manage inventory accounting and perform regular stock reconciliations
- Handle accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations
- Support budgeting, financial forecasting, and month-end/year-end closing
- Ensure VAT and tax compliance in accordance with UAE regulations
- Conduct and assist with internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with Kimberley Process and international trade standards
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and reports
- Draft professional correspondence and maintain confidentiality of financial data
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the diamond or jewelry industry
- Strong working knowledge of UAE tax laws, VAT, and financial regulations
- Proficiency in Tally, SAP, Oracle, or other major accounting software
- Excellent MS Excel and data analysis skills
- Strong English communication skills (written & verbal non-negotiable)
- Proven ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Prior experience in the Middle East, ideally within Dubai, is mandatory
Preferred Skills
- Experience with ERP systems
- Familiarity with UAE customs and international trade protocols
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Young, energetic professional (preferably between 2840 years old)
- Chartered Accountant (CA) or semi-qualified CA background preferred
