Where Do You Fit In
We are currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team asAdvanced Project Engineerto be based in Dubai, UAE. In this role you will be part of a team assessing and driving achievement of program specific performance within Honeywell Building Technologies. You will partner with world class engineering's and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.
What Will You Be Doing Every Single Day
.Reporting directly to the Project Manager for the project on which they are working, the Project Engineer's primary responsibility is to test and commission all items of Honeywell installed or provided equipment to the satisfaction of the customer and/or contractual requirements.
.The Project Engineer must ensure that all testing and verification documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner so that all items that are reported to have been tested will be correct when assessed by an independent person such as a consultant.
.The Project Engineer must understand the desired outcome of the project as well as the workings of the Honeywell installed product that they are working with.
.They must be able to make changes to wiring, configuration or replace product as required to ensure that each individual device and the system as a whole operate in accordance with the contract and associated approved documentation.
.Timely and accurate completion of daily site diaries and recording of any change requests or delay to our progress are critical element of this role.
.They must be able to interface with customers and staff at all levels
.Project Engineers must have detailed knowledge and competency to program DDC and engineer BACNet, Modbus, OPC, and other protocols knowledge
What Skills and Experience Will You Have
.Bachelors Degree (Electrical/Security Engineering filedis welcome)
.Previous working experience with HVAC (Heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) or BMS (Building Management System)
.Understanding of DDC or PLC programming
.Willingness to travel, Driving license B
.English (communicative) language
.Previous exposure to a site-based construction environment
.Experience in working on medium/large building automation projects
.Knowledge of IT (Microsoft Windows Server, Microsoft Office, Networks etc.)
