Position Title: Assistant Credit Manager

Location: 6th October City, Cairo

Position Overview

H.B. Fuller seeks an IMEA Assistant Credit Manager to support customer credit risk management, collections, and accounts receivable performance across Egypt and the Middle East, while providing guidance to India, Africa, and Türkiye. This role partners with Sales, Customer Service, and Finance teams to minimize credit risk, optimize cash flow, and support business growth. The position also oversees collection activities, customer risk assessments, and credit reporting processes across the region.

This position will be reporting to EIMEA Credit Manager based in Portugal. This will be Hybrid position 3 days office and 2 days work from home.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Assess customer credit risk and assign credit limits within authority levels
  • Partner with sales teams and customers to mitigate credit risk exposure
  • Lead customer account reviews and resolve complex credit issues
  • Supervise collection activities and order hold resolution processes
  • Monitor aging accounts and ensure compliance with service level agreements
  • Escalate delinquency, insolvency, and high-risk account situations
  • Support monthly Credit and Accounts Receivable reporting activities
  • Coach and develop Credit Specialists, Analysts, and Supervisors

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or related field
  • 5–7 years of experience in credit, collections, finance, or commercial risk management
  • Proficiency in accounts receivable systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills in English and Arabic
  • Authorization to work in the applicable location and ability to travel regionally (2–4 trips annually)

Preferred Requirements

  • MBA or advanced degree in Finance or Business
  • Experience with SAP ERP systems
  • Professional credit certification (CICP, ICCE, or CGCE)
  • Experience leading credit, collection, or accounts receivable teams across multiple markets
