Associate - Debt Advisory & Restructuring

Hays have partnered with one of the world's most prestigious global financial advisory firms to identify a toptier Debt Advisory & Restructuring Associate for their Dubai office. They are seeking a highperforming finance professional with a strong track record executing complex financing and restructuring transactions from end to end.

As an Associate, you will take a central role across the full lifecycle of debt advisory and restructuring mandates. You will work closely with senior leadership and clients, leading analytical workstreams, building and reviewing advanced financial models, and shaping strategic recommendations for highstakes situations. This is a fastpaced, executionheavy role suited to individuals who thrive in intellectually demanding, dealintensive environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead execution of debt advisory and restructuring mandates across the full transaction lifecycle
• Develop, review, and stresstest complex financial models for refinancing, liability management, capital structure optimisation, and restructuring scenarios
• Prepare and deliver pitch materials, lender presentations, information memoranda, and restructuring analyses
• Coordinate legal, financial, and operational due diligence with external advisors and internal stakeholders
• Manage client and counterparty interactions, including lenders, investors, legal counsel, and senior executives
• Leverage AIenabled tools to enhance research depth, modelling efficiency, and workflow quality

Key Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in investment banking, restructuring advisory, leveraged finance, or special situations at a toptier institution
• Strong academic background from a leading university; MBA or CFA is advantageous
• Demonstrated experience executing debt financing, refinancing, or restructuring transactions
• Exceptional financial modelling and valuation capabilities
• Comfortable using AIpowered analytics and modern research tools
