Back-End Engineer

A fast-growing company that has established itself as the world's most popular music sharing and listening platform is looking for a Back-End Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with preparing and producing the releases of software components and features for the platform. Job Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 6+ years of relevant experience as a backend developer
• Expertise in working with backend languages like Java, Python, PHP, .NET, Ruby, Golang, etc.
• Must be well-versed with web development best practices, programming techniques, and tools
• Deep understanding of relational and non-relational databases like MS SQL Server, Oracle Database, MySQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, Redis, etc.
• Should possess sound knowledge of utilizing DynamoDB, SpringBoot, and Spring
• Must have a strong grasp of database integration, data migration, transformation, and scripting
• Sound knowledge of third-party libraries and APIs
• Thorough understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js. etc.
• Understanding of accessibility and security compliance
• Must be familiar with server-side CSS preprocessors, like LESS and SASS
• Should possess basic knowledge of CMS framework
• Knowledge of working with automated testing platforms and unit tests is preferred
