Job Description

JOB PURPOSE

  • Managing the Business continuity Department which include review the Business impact analysis and Business criticality matrix for all department to update and enhance the Business continuity plan by design and develop testing plans to cover any issue/gap could lead to disaster which may affect the bank operations.
  • Facilitate and support the execution of the Business continuity plan at the time of a crisis event, and act as Business Continuity Management & Crisis Leadership Committee secretary.
  • Design and outline organization's BCM goals, objectives and scope for business plans and Crisis Management
  • Identify and make recommendations for change and adaptation to meet the needs of the business.

Main responsibilities :

- Responsible for draft and update the Business continuity policy, Term of reference and Business continuity plan, and obtain the required approval for it.

- Responsible for review the Business impact analysis and Business criticality matrix for all bank's department.

- Collaborates with IT staff to develop and implement best practices to protect and restore data and systems in the event of natural disasters, viruses, and hackers

- Works with health, safety, and security staff to align the organizations emergency management plan with established best practices and community standards

- Responsible for enhancing the BCM training material draft and provide training awareness for all bank staff.

- Identifies and implements recovery operations and methods to allow the company to function at limited or partial capacity in the event that part or all of the infrastructure is damaged or destroyed.

- Responsible for design and develop testing plans to test and improve the Business continuity plan and Monitoring the Business continuity plan performance.

- Responsible for conduct a yearly test for the Business continuity plan and identify any weaknesses points and follow with the concerned department till solving it.

Qualifications and Education :

  • Bachelor's degree
  • General knowledge of the bank's rules and policies.
  • General knowledge of the services / products offered by the Bank.
  • Very Good understanding of risk / controls & regulations
  • Very Good understanding of the end to ends Process & workflow.
  • Training and presentation skills.

Work Experience :

At least 6-7 years of experience in BCM in Banking sector, with A minimum of two years of experience working in managerial role.
