We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who can expand our client base, strengthen relationships, and drive revenue growth within the landscape design and planning sector. This position suits someone who understands the consultancy market, knows how to build trust with developers and architects, interior designer and can identify opportunities long before they reach tender stage.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and public realm landscape sectors.
Build strong relationships with developers, architects and interior designer.
Track upcoming projects, RFQs, and RFPs, then coordinate proposal strategies with the design and QS teams.
Prepare capability presentations, attend client meetings, and represent the company at industry events.
Maintain a well organised pipeline of leads and provide accurate forecasting to management.
Guide the preparation of bids, including commercial proposals, scopes of work, and submission documents.
Collaborate with the design team to shape solutions that fit client needs and budgets.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to refine positioning.
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, landscape architecture, or a related field.
4 to 6 years of business development experience within design, architecture, engineering, or construction.
Strong understanding of landscape design services, project workflows, and consultancy operations.
Proven ability to win work and manage long term client relationships.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple pursuits with clear priorities and consistent follow up.
Existing network of developers, architects, and consultants.
Experience preparing technical and commercial proposals for design consultancies.
Confident, proactive, and comfortable representing the company at a senior level.
