Category Manager

We are looking for a Category Manager to join their dynamic Retail & Buying team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the retail experience across some of the region's most iconic theme parks and attractions.

About the Role:

As a Category Manager, you'll be responsible for the end-to-end product development, buying strategy, and vendor management across multiple retail categories. You'll work closely with design, planning, and operations teams to deliver innovative, high-quality merchandise that delights guests and drives commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead product development from concept to delivery, ensuring quality and compliance across all categories.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional suppliers and licensors.
• Collaborate with planning and finance teams to meet open-to-buy targets, margins, and inventory goals.
• Analyze sales and stock performance to optimize product mix and manage slow-moving items.
• Monitor market trends and identify new sourcing and product opportunities.
• Support the development and mentorship of a junior buyer within your department.
• Partner with internal teams on events, activations, and seasonal campaigns to enhance guest engagement.

Requirements:

• 7–10 years experience in retail buying and product development (theme park or attractions experience a plus). Multi category product development.
• Strong vendor management, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proven experience managing end-to-end product development and budgeting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and retail inventory systems.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities.
• Adaptable and proactive mindset, comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative environment.
