CDU Engineer (Cooling Distribution Unit)

At EFS Facilities Services, we are looking for a technically strong CDU Engineer to support critical cooling systems and data centre infrastructure across our UAE operations. This role is essential in ensuring reliability, efficiency, and uninterrupted operation of CDU (Cooling Distribution Unit) systems within mission-critical environments.

Role Overview

The CDU Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation and performance of Cooling Distribution Unit (CDU) systems within mission-critical environments. The role focuses on maintaining system availability, executing preventive and corrective maintenance, and minimizing downtime risks. This position requires strong technical expertise, proactive monitoring, and strict adherence to operational and safety standards to support uninterrupted operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain CDU systems and associated cooling infrastructure
• Monitor system performance, temperature control, and operational efficiency
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance as per schedules
• Troubleshoot and resolve system failures and performance issues
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, SOPs, and client SLAs
• Coordinate with operations, vendors, and OEMs for system support
• Maintain logs, reports, and maintenance records
• Support audits, inspections, and critical incident management

What We're Looking For

• 4–7 years of experience in data centre operations or critical cooling systems
• Strong knowledge of CDU systems, HVAC, and chilled water systems
• Experience in mission-critical or high-availability environments preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and technical problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in shifts and handle critical operational scenarios

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
