About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Chinese Translator to join our team on a full-time basis. The ideal candidate will have proven experience working with automotive companies and a strong ability to translate technical, commercial, and operational content accurately and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
- Translate written materials between Chinese and English (and/or Arabic, if applicable) with high accuracy and consistency
- Handle automotive-related content, including technical documents, manuals, specifications, presentations, emails, and contracts
- Support meetings, calls, and visits with Chinese partners as needed (written and verbal translation/interpretation)
- Ensure terminology and tone align with automotive industry standards
- Coordinate with internal teams to meet deadlines and translation requirements
- Maintain confidentiality and professional integrity at all times
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
- Fluency in Chinese (Mandarin) and English (spoken and written)
- Previous experience translating for automotive companies is preferred
- Strong understanding of automotive terminology and technical language
- Excellent attention to detail and strong communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines
- Prior experience in an international or multicultural work environment is a plus
