Summary
The Cloud Engineer role is primarily focused on delivering successful cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and focusing on Infrastructure as Code, serving as a trusted advisor to clients and ensuring seamless migration and deployment of applications.
Main Responsibilities:
Core duties include partnering with clients to manage cloud solution implementations and proposing GCP architectures.
- Partner with customers to manage and deliver cloud solution implementations.
- Propose and deploy GCP solution architectures, emphasizing Python automation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and manage secure applications on GCP.
- Develop migration strategies for legacy applications to scalable architectures on GKE.
- Guide customers in utilizing container technologies and writing automation scripts.
- Manage project timelines, scope, and deliverables with stakeholders.
Key Requirements:
- Proven expertise in Infrastructure as Code, Cloud Networking, and Virtual Machine Migration.
- Solid practical experience in software development and debugging with Python.
- Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (GKE).
- Understanding of Cloud Networking principles, including VPCs and network security.
- Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) principles.
- Track record in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and using Terraform.

- Contract duration is 12 months, extendable.
