We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Cluster Risk & Resilience Manager to lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Enterprise Risk Management (ERM), Business Continuity Management (BCM), and Crisis Management framework across our business cluster.
This is a critical leadership role requiring deep expertise in aviation and MRO risk landscapes, resilience planning, and regulatory compliance. You will work closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to build a proactive risk culture that safeguards operational continuity and supports long-term sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
- Develop and implement a proactive, integrated ERM framework aligned with ISO 31000 and best practices
- Define and maintain Risk Appetite Statements (RAS) to ensure exposure aligns with strategic tolerance
- Monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and report to executive leadership and Board
- Lead enterprise-wide risk identification, assessment, and prioritization
- Establish and maintain the Cluster Risk Register with ongoing updates
- Facilitate risk workshops and scenario analysis
- Conduct periodic risk reassessments to reflect evolving risk profiles
- Develop risk methodologies and reporting structures
- Create actionable strategies for risk mitigation, avoidance, acceptance, and prevention
- Deliver risk training and awareness programs across the cluster
B. Business Continuity Management (BCM)
- Design and maintain BCM frameworks aligned with ISO 22301 / NCEMA 7001
- Ensure continuity of critical operations during disruptions
- Oversee development and testing of BCPs, DRPs, and crisis response plans
- Conduct Business Impact Analysis (BIA), defining RTOs and RPOs
- Lead enterprise-level simulations (e.g., aviation incidents, cyber disruptions)
- Monitor BCM readiness and maturity
- Coordinate recovery capabilities with IT, operations, and facilities
- Identify and track BC-related risks and mitigation actions
- Drive ongoing training and awareness initiatives
C. Crisis & Incident Management
- Establish a robust Crisis Management Framework and escalation protocols
- Develop and implement crisis playbooks and response plans
- Lead cluster-wide crisis response teams during major incidents
- Conduct crisis simulations, including executive-level exercises
- Oversee post-incident reviews and lessons learned implementation
- Ensure coordination with external stakeholders (regulators, authorities, partners)
D. Stakeholder Engagement & Risk Culture
- Promote strong risk ownership and accountability across all levels
- Deliver training and awareness programs in risk management and resilience
- Foster cross-functional collaboration across operations, safety, legal, compliance, and leadership teams
Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Business Administration, Accounting, Aerospace Engineering, or related field
- Minimum 10+ years experience in risk management/audit, including 5+ years in leadership roles
- Experience in aviation, MRO, logistics, or asset-heavy industries preferred
- Professional certifications required: CIA, CFE, CISA, or equivalent
- Additional ERM/BCM certifications are highly desirable
- Strong English proficiency
