About the Role:
We are looking for enthusiastic and hardworking
Commis Chefs (Commis 1, 2, and 3) to join our award-winning culinary team. The successful candidates will assist in food preparation and support senior chefs in delivering exceptional quality and presentation in every dish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of menu items according to hotel standards.
- Follow the instructions and guidance of the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef.
- Ensure that all mise-en-place is prepared efficiently and on time.
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety in the kitchen at all times.
- Support with receiving and storing deliveries and managing stock rotation.
- Contribute ideas to menu development and kitchen improvements.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a 5-star hotel or fine-dining restaurant is preferred.
- Passion for cooking and commitment to maintaining high culinary standards.
- Strong teamwork, discipline, and willingness to learn.
- Basic understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene procedures.
- Culinary diploma or relevant training certification is an advantage.
