ABOUT THE ROLE / ROLE OVERVIEW
The Saudi Country Manager/GM will have full P&L ownership and overall responsibility for building, leading, and scaling the company's IT and cybersecurity business in the Kingdom, while driving strategic channel and vendor relationships. This role requires high hands-on leadership skills with strong personal sales capability, able to directly develop large accounts, close strategic deals, and grow enterprise and government relationships while establishing a high performing local organization. The role is both strategic and execution-driven, with a strong emphasis on direct revenue generation, market expansion, and long-term business sustainability and ensuring compliance with local regulatory requirements.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Strategic Leadership
- Define and execute the Saudi Arabia business strategy in alignment with the group's regional and global objectives.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive business strategy for the KSA market in alignment with regional goals.
- Identify market opportunities, emerging cybersecurity trends, and develop go-to-market strategies.
- Lead and direct the KSA team for results and excellence in Sales and Services
- Lead annual planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Sales & Channel Development
- Have an extensive sales & Business Development experience.
- Personally lead and close large, complex, and strategic deals, particularly with key enterprise and government accounts.
- Drive market entry, expansion, and positioning in line with Saudi Vision 2030 initiatives.
- Drive revenue growth by managing key vendor relationships and expanding the reseller/integrator partner network.
- Oversee sales performance, partner enablement, channel marketing initiatives and end user connection and networking.
- Ensure strong pipeline development and conversion through value-added distribution.
- Manage and develop large-scale projects directly, leveraging personal experience to engage Saudi key enterprise accounts, and drive sales and marketing through strong networking and established relationships.
Vendor & Partner Management
- Act as the key point of contact for regional strategic vendors in KSA.
- Optimize profitability and support growth.
- Ensure successful product launches, partner engagement and certification, and technical enablement through the team.
- Customer satisfaction and escalation management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term relationships.
Team Leadership & Operations
- Board / regional leadership reporting
- Cross-functional alignment with HQ (finance, legal, HR, marketing)
- Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing team across sales, technical support, projects, and operations.
- Oversee business operations, ensuring compliance with Country regulations.
- Foster a performance-driven culture and continuous improvement mindset.
- Identify and mitigate operational, financial, and compliance risks.
- Ensure business continuity planning and resilience.
Government & Regulatory Engagement
- Maintain strong relationships with relevant KSA authorities and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure company business compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Develop and execute a Saudization and localization strategy in line with KSA regulations.
REQUIREMENTS
Education / Qualification
Bachelor's degree in business administration or BSC in IT, SW Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
Experience
- Minimum 8–10 years of experience in IT or Cybersecurity Sales & Management, including 3+ years in a senior leadership or country management role. (work history in sales leadership with corporate and multinational regional roles preferred.)
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity and ICT trends, vendors, technologies, and market trends.
- Strong understanding of channel sales, value-added distribution, and partner ecosystems.
- Proven leadership, negotiation, and strategic planning skills.
