Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Cyber Security Engineer based in Amman. The Cyber Security Engineer will be responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving security measures to protect networks, systems, applications, and data. Daily tasks include conducting vulnerability assessments, supporting security solution implementation, analyzing and mitigating risks, ensuring compliance with security best practices, and responding to security incidents. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity posture and support the delivery of secure technology environments.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Network Security

Proficiency in cybersecurity practices, security technologies, and risk mitigation

Experience in network security, endpoint security, firewalls, SIEM, EDR, and vulnerability management

Knowledge of Application Security and implementing security controls across systems and software

Expertise in conducting Vulnerability Assessments and managing remediation efforts

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for identifying and addressing security threats

Knowledge of industry standards, frameworks, and regulatory compliance requirements

Ability to collaborate with technical and business teams and communicate security concepts clearly

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field

Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are a plus
