Key Responsibilities:
Handles IT system security as a subject matter expert on IT System security and
providing up to level-3 support.
Handles escalations and provide advisory and support function to front office /
back office.
Acts as technical reviewers in change management process and continuous
improvement.
Acts as technical reviewers in Fault management process and continuous
improvement.
Troubleshoots and closes escalated trouble tickets on daily basis.
Performs root cause analysis and generate Incident reports.
Opens clients trouble tickets with vendors TSS.
Coordinates system changes with appropriate teams to minimize disruption.
Coordinates and communicates issues requiring escalation to different teams
and initiate follow up procedure pertaining to issues.
Plans and schedules PMR on managed networks.
Facilitates the sharing of best practices and recommendations throughout
the cyber operations with customers.
Communicates new developments, breakthroughs, challenges, and lessons
learned to management, and customers.
Documents lessons learned that convey the results of events and/or exercises.
Uses cyber defense tools for continual monitoring and analysis of system
activity to identify malicious activity.
Analyzes identified malicious activity to determine weaknesses exploited,
exploitation methods, effects on system and information.
Characterizes and analyze network traffic to identify anomalous activity and
potential threats to network resources.
Follows up with the latest vulnerabilities and advise on taking actions upon them.
Contributes to the overall success of the company by performing all other duties
and responsibilities as assigned by line manager.
Academic Qualification:
Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information
Technology, or related discipline.
Years of Experience
3 - 5 years in relevant experience.
Skills:
Advance knowledge in enterprise IT security infrastructure.
Advance proficiency in security tools and systems such as EDR, XDR,
IAM/PAM, DLP, FIM, database security, asset and patch management, SOAR
is a plus.
Intermediate knowledge in the 6 phases of Incident Response.
Intermediate proficiency in an IT operational environment as a security
system admin.
Intermediate knowledge in variety of operating systems, and a good
systems administration level of experience.
Advance proficiency in communicating effectively with a range of security
professionals and to simplify complex technical issues
