Your mission

As a Data & AI Project Manager, you will work within a team operating directly on a client project, reporting to a dedicated manager.

Your role:

• You own delivery of data, analytics, and AI engagements end-to-end — from discovery and scoping through design, build, UAT, and go-live — under the supervision of your Project Director.

• You act as the single point of accountability for the engagement and the client's primary point of contact, building trusted-advisor relationships with both business and IT stakeholders.

• You define and monitor project scope, assumptions, workload estimates, planning, methodology, and steering-committee reporting and material.

• You contribute to stakeholder management, requirements gathering and functional design workshops across data domains — MDM, data integration, metadata, data quality, analytics, and GenAI use cases — translating business outcomes into solution requirements.

• You oversee the quality of functional specifications, technical documentation, and deliverables, partnering closely with data architects, data engineers, analytics consultants, and ML/AI specialists on your team.

• You drive solution validation — internal testing, UAT support, data reconciliation, and model evaluation where applicable — through to production deployment and hypercare.

• You manage project economics: budget tracking, margin, resource allocation, change requests, dependencies and risk mitigation.

• You contribute to Apgar UAE's growth by identifying expansion opportunities within your accounts and feeding insights back into our offerings and methodology

Presales :

• You participate in pre-sales activities and responses to RFPs/tenders.

• You contribute to implementation cost estimation and project planning.

• You contribute to drafting commercial proposals.

Your profile :

• You hold a higher education degree (Bachelor's/Master's level) and have between 7 and 10 years of experience in a consulting firm or IT services company in the Data domain

• You have strong interpersonal, commercial, and managerial skills, and are able to manage a project holistically from business, financial, and human perspectives.

• It is mandatory to have experience in one of the following areas: MDM, Metadata, Data Integration, AI/ML and Data Preparation

Practical Information

• Location: Dubai

• Contract: Permanent / Full Time

• Start date: As soon as possible

• Compensation: Attractive package (fixed + variable), depending on profile

Our recruitment process is transparent:

• Interview with the Recruitment Officer (20–45 minutes) to understand your motivations, assess alignment with our values, and review the key milestones of your professional background

• Technical or functional interview, depending on the role, to assess your expertise including a business case (1 hour)

• Interview with a manager (1 hour)
