Job Description



A U.S.-based company that is providing revolutionary technological services that have put them at the forefront of the smart home tech industry, is looking for a Data Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for ensuring high operational excellence, platform stability, and high availability. With unprecedented efficiency, the Silicon Valley-based company's cutting-edge solutions are assisting providers in deploying best-in-class WiFi experiences. During their Series F round of funding, the company has managed to secure $720mn+. This position requires a significant overlap with the IST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Utilize scalable systems to handle the growing data volumes
  • Take part in developing and putting into effect data governance and security policies for the data lake
  • Produce code that is efficiently organized, optimized, well-tested, and documented
  • Observe deadlines and adhere to specifications

Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
  • At least 5+ years of relevant experience as a data engineer
  • 5+ years of experience building, implementing, and scaling data pipelines
  • Prolific experience working with SQL, Spark, and Java/SQL
  • Ability to solve tough data challenges
  • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills
