Job Description
Position: Data Entry Operator – Warehouse
Job Purpose
To support warehouse operations by ensuring accurate and timely entry of inventory transactions into the ERP system, maintaining proper documentation, and assisting in inventory control activities to improve data integrity and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Enter warehouse transactions such as Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs), material issues, stock transfers, production consumption, and dispatches into the ERP system.
- Verify transaction details against supporting documents and resolve discrepancies with relevant departments.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure all transactions are updated within the required timeline.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and warehouse activity reports.
- Support cycle counts, annual stock takes, and inventory reconciliation activities.
- Organize and maintain warehouse documents, including delivery notes, GRNs, invoices, and transfer records, ensuring easy retrieval and traceability.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Production, Quality, and Finance departments to ensure smooth processing of warehouse transactions.
- Monitor pending transactions and follow up with concerned departments to close them in a timely manner.
- Assist in identifying opportunities to improve data accuracy, reporting, and warehouse processes.
- Adhere to company policies, safety procedures, and quality standards while performing assigned duties.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse operations or data entry activities.
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as Xpedeon, D365, Oracle, SAP, or similar platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
- Good attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work under pressure.
