We are seeking a skilled SAUDI MongoDB Database Administrator to manage, optimize, and ensure the reliability of our database systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining high performance, availability, and security of MongoDB environments, particularly in mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, monitor, and maintain MongoDB databases to ensure optimal performance and availability
- Perform database tuning, query optimization, and performance troubleshooting
- Develop and execute efficient scripts and queries without impacting system stability
- Implement and manage backup, recovery, and disaster recovery strategies
- Ensure database security, access controls, and compliance with best practices
- Monitor system health and proactively identify performance bottlenecks
- Support high availability (HA) configurations, including replication and sharding
- Troubleshoot database-related issues in production environments
- Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to improve database performance and scalability
Requirements
- Proven hands-on experience in MongoDB database administration
- Strong expertise in query optimization and performance tuning
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Shell
- Solid understanding of MongoDB architecture, including replication and sharding
- Experience working in mission-critical or high-availability environments
