DevOps Engineer

A fast-growing, venture-backed company active in the coffee industry, is looking for a DevOps Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for building a monitoring solution to fulfill the business and customers requirements. The selected candidate will collaborate with a diverse team of industry veterans, entrepreneurs, engineers, technicians, human-centered designers and work on matching certain Service Level Agreement (SLA) and product-related metrics. The company has raised up to $58.2mn so far and worked with a variety of customers ranging from large brands to small neighborhood cafes. This is a nice opportunity to work in an award-winning company and contribute to developing sustainable products. The role requires at least 5 hours of time zone overlap with PST.
Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to ensure high productivity, reliability, scalability, and performance of applications
• Discover metrics to quantify product quality and engineering efficiency
• Research emerging technologies and make calculated decisions on how to optimize tooling
• Create development pipelines to ensure source code control management
• Perform automation, building, testing, and deployment of software products

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• Strong knowledge in Software/Infrastructure Operations
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, or other containerization technologies
• Proficient with infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Cloudformation, AWS, ELK, Cloudwatch, and Grafana
• Experience with AWS ALB and Prometheus is nice to have
• Strong foundational knowledge in building secure, reliable, and distributed system architectures
