Job Description:

The Events & Culture Experience Director will be responsible for conceptualizing and executing a comprehensive events strategy to establish the Giza Plateau as the world's premier venue for high-end, culturally significant events. He/ She will oversee the entire event lifecycle, from curating a portfolio of exclusive experiences and innovating new concepts to managing all booking processes and developing sophisticated pricing strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive events strategy that positions the Giza Plateau as the world's most sought-after venue for culturally significant and high-end events.
  • Oversee and manage the entire booking process for designated Giza Plateau events maintaining an accurate and up-to-date reservations calendar to optimize utilization and prevent conflicts.
  • Curate a portfolio of experiences—from international concerts and luxury brand launches to exclusive diplomatic functions and historical showcases—that are appropriate for the site's stature.
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date reservations calendar to optimize space utilization, maximize revenue, and prevent scheduling conflicts.
  • Innovate new event concepts and cultural programs that leverage the unique landscape and history of the Plateau.
  • Lead the development of pricing strategies, sales packages, and booking policies.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget for the Events & Culture department, with full P&L responsibility.
  • Drive revenue growth by actively seeking and securing high-value event opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, creativity, and cultural sensitivity within the team.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Property Management, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 15 years of senior leadership experience in managing events at world-class, iconic venues (e.g., museums, heritage sites, luxury resorts, major public arenas, or cultural centers).
  • Proven success in developing and executing large-scale, high-profile international events with complex logistical and security needs.
  • Masterful negotiation and contract management skills, with experience dealing with corporate clients, artists, and government entities.
