Role Description The Export Documentation & Logistics Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Heliopolis. This role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all export documentation in compliance with international trade regulations and company policies. The specialist coordinates shipment bookings, liaises with freight forwarders and carriers, and monitors cargo movements to ensure timely delivery. Daily tasks include communicating with customers and internal stakeholders, resolving documentation or logistics issues, and maintaining accurate records in relevant systems. The role also involves supporting import-export operations, optimizing logistics processes, and contributing to continuous improvement of export procedures.
Qualifications
  • Strong expertise in Export Documentation and Import Export procedures, with the ability to ensure regulatory and customer requirements are met.
  • Proficiency in Communication and Customer Service, including clear written and verbal interaction with international clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Solid understanding of Export operations, international shipping terms (Incoterms), and basic trade compliance principles.
  • Experience with logistics coordination, shipment tracking, and working with freight forwarders and carriers.
  • Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Comfort with using ERP systems, export documentation platforms, and standard office software (e.g., Excel, Word, email tools).
  • Relevant degree or diploma in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in chemical or industrial manufacturing exports is an advantage.
