Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role located in 6th of October for a Facilities Manager. The Facilities Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations and maintenance of properties, ensuring safety, functionality, and compliance with regulations. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, coordinating building repairs, implementing preventive maintenance plans, and overseeing budgets for facility operations. The Facilities Manager will also ensure that properties meet the highest standards for sustainability, safety, and comfort while liaising with stakeholders to address needs and concerns effectively.

Qualifications

  • Facilities management and maintenance planning skills, including knowledge of preventive maintenance and repair procedures
  • Vendor management and budgeting expertise, with the ability to manage contracts and optimize costs effectively
  • Strong organizational and project management skills to oversee multiple properties and tasks simultaneously
  • Thorough understanding of health, safety, and building regulations to ensure code compliance
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills to work collaboratively with teams, clients, and stakeholders
  • Compound or mall experience is a must
  • 5+ years of FM in real estate industry is a must
  • Team management experience
  • Preventive maintenance experience
  • Familiarity with sustainable building practices and environmental compliance is a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Proven experience in facilities management or property management roles
