Monitor and analyze onshore and offshore USD/TRY pricing dynamics, identifying risks related to volatility, liquidity, and policy changes.
Develop and execute hedging strategies using derivatives including Forwards, Swaps, and Options to protect the balance sheet and cash flow from adverse market movements.
Manage TRY position limits based on business volume forecasts and adjust exposures dynamically to minimize hedging costs without disrupting operations.
Provide 24/7 monitoring and rapid execution of hedges during high-volatility periods to minimize potential losses.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align hedging activities with business objectives and risk tolerance.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, derivatives trading, or hedging, preferably within emerging markets (Turkish market experience highly desirable).
Strong proficiency in using financial derivatives (Forwards, Swaps, Options) for hedging purposes on CEXs.
Ability to work across time zones and respond to market events outside standard working hours.
Exceptional analytical skills and ability to interpret macroeconomic data, central bank policies, and geopolitical risks.
Must be based in Dubai, UAE.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in data analysis and modeling to forecast USD/TRY trends.
Familiarity with Web3/crypto exchange operations and associated risk factors.
Proven track record of managing TRY exposure in a high-growth or volatile business environment.
