About the Role:
We are seeking a reliable and proactive Field Operations Assistant to support our logistics and customs clearance operations. The role involves coordination with customs authorities, ports, airports, and internal teams to ensure smooth handling of import and export shipments. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in customs documentation, inspection coordination, and field-level logistics activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with Customs Clearance teams, Airport, Port, and Dubai Customs for cargo handling activities.
- Manage Air Import processes including document collection, cargo inspection, and coordination with authorities.
- Oversee Air Export cargo handover, customs inspection, and related documentation.
- Handle Port coordination for cargo release, inspection, and delivery activities.
- Prepare and process Documents, Exit Typing, and related paperwork as required.
- Conduct on-site visits to airport and port facilities for cargo-related tasks.
- Ensure all customs and logistics activities are completed within compliance and timelines.
- Utilize bike or car for airport and field operations as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, or customs clearance operations.
- Strong understanding of Dubai Customs, airport, and port procedures.
- Valid UAE driving license (bike and/or car).
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to handle time-sensitive tasks and work independently in the field.
