Job Title: Field Service Engineer – PLC & SCADA
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with hands-on experience in PLC and SCADA systems to support installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and service activities at customer sites. The ideal candidate should be adaptable, customer-focused, and able to respond effectively to unexpected field challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, and maintain PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems.
- Diagnose and resolve electrical, control, and automation issues at customer sites.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on automation equipment.
- Configure, test, and troubleshoot PLC programs and SCADA applications.
- Provide on-site technical support and ensure timely resolution of service requests.
- Prepare service reports, documentation, and maintenance records.
- Coordinate with internal teams and customers to ensure successful project execution.
- Follow safety standards and company procedures while working on-site.
- Be available for travel and emergency/breakdown support when required.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Automation Engineering.
- 3–6 years of experience in field service, industrial automation, or control systems.
- Hands-on experience with PLCs .
- Experience with SCADA/HMI platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer-handling abilities.
- Willingness to travel extensively and work flexible hours, including emergency service calls.
