Job Description

Solutions Plus is looking for an experienced Facility Manager:

Roles and Responsibilities:

Manage the day-to-day FM operations, Reviews technical reports.

Manage the MEP/HVAC Engineering to ensure optimum service levels at the facilities.

Manage the service reports delivered to the client.

Manage subcontractors and supplier work activities for both hard and soft services.

Ensure good response time to the client from the onsite facility teams.

Manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of assigned sites and divisions.

Monitor PPM completions and ensure PPM planner is kept on track.

Ensure all preventive maintenance tasks and schedules are completed to required standards and timeframes.

Monitor job tickets and timely completions as per agreed SLAs.

Follow up for material requests and procurement.

Ensure that all work is fully compliant with the contract and subcontracts for each site.

Management of sub-contractors performing work at sites.

Review and approve of Permits to Work requests and implement a Safe Systems of Work.

Perform effective Manpower scheduling.

Development and enhancement of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).

Monitor complaint trends and failures recorded in the CMMS/CAFM.

Implement good industry Standards over their team of technicians.

Follow and make recommendations regarding energy consumption optimization.

Ensure site HSEQ issues are reported and followed through.

Other duties as required to fulfil contractual obligations.

Prepare and present service performance reports.

Assist in providing technical bid material for new opportunities.

Manage assigned project P&L and be able to present up-to-date ledger.

Carry out and assess risk assessments and suggest risk mitigation solutions.


Proficient in English written and spoken and preferable Arabic.

Knowledge and experience of using a CAFM system

Ability to produce technical report analysis

Knowledgeable regarding MEP works

Knowledgeable regarding delivery of soft services

Knowledge regarding HSE requirements


MEP Engineering BS Degree or Mechanical Engineering BS Degree

Advantage to have FM recognized qualification

Advantage to have IOSH or NEBOSH qualification

Seven to ten years of experience in facilities management or construction

Five years experience in a Facilities Manager's role
