Role Description The Foreign Procurement Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Nasr City. This position is responsible for managing international sourcing activities, including identifying and evaluating foreign suppliers, preparing and issuing requests for quotation (RFQs), and negotiating commercial terms in line with company policies. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with technical specifications, quality standards, and budget requirements. The role involves close collaboration with engineering, operations, and finance teams to align procurement decisions with project timelines and performance objectives. The Foreign Procurement Engineer also maintains accurate documentation, monitors market trends, and supports continuous improvement in procurement processes.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Supplier Evaluation and Request for Quotation (RFQ) preparation and management.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in handling Purchase Orders and managing procurement documentation and workflows.
  • Candidates should possess solid Analytical Skills to assess bids, costs, and technical compliance.
  • Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and international suppliers.
  • Relevant experience in foreign procurement, preferably in marine, petroleum, or industrial sectors.
  • Knowledge of international trade terms, import regulations, and logistics processes.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Ability to use procurement and ERP systems, as well as standard office software tools.
  • Strong attention to detail, negotiation abilities, and a focus on timely, cost-effective sourcing.
