About Your Team

You will be part of a dedicated site team focused on delivering work safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. Working alongside the Foreman and site supervisors, you will support daily operations, coordinate with crews, and help ensure smooth execution of activities on site.

Your Role

As a Foreman - Junior, you will

• Support the Foreman in the day-to-day supervision of site operations, ensuring coordination across labour teams.
• Promote and uphold safe working practices by reinforcing PPE compliance, proper tool usage, and adherence to safety protocols.
• Contribute to a culture of safety by overseeing the correct management of hazardous materials and ensuring confined space works are executed with proper controls.
• Interpret drawings to support accurate execution of site works and to provide guidance to teams on technical requirements.
• Coordinate site preparation and resource allocation in alignment with planned activities.
• Communicate effectively with chargehands and workforce to ensure clear task direction and alignment with project goals.
• Monitor team output and performance, identifying opportunities for improving productivity and resource utilisation.
• Maintain accurate records of daily site activities and progress to support project reporting and planning.
• Support the delivery of high-quality workmanship by overseeing compliance with design specifications and conducting quality inspections.
• Assist in resolving technical and operational issues on site in collaboration with the Foreman and relevant stakeholders.
• Apply technical expertise and discipline-specific knowledge to deliver high-quality outcomes within your area of specialisation.
• Undertake any other reasonable duties and/or responsibilities as required by management, to meet the needs of the business.

What We're Looking For

Skills and Competencies

• First Aider certification
• Strong practical knowledge of construction & site coordination
• Quality-focused with sharp attention to detail
• Effective in planning, prioritising, & managing tasks
• Able to read & interpret technical drawings accurately
• Familiar with site safety & productivity best practices
• Works well with diverse teams in fast-paced environments
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

Qualifications & Experience

• Qualification in appropriate discipline or equivalent demonstrated experience and/or
• 5+ years experience
