Job Description

The overall roles and responsibility of faculty will include but not be limited to the following activities.

Preparation:

For the assigned module the faculty is expected to prepare the teaching material along with student's study/guidance material which is required to deliver the given module effectively. The preparation materials will include and not be limited to the following head:

Scheme of work (Day-wise module delivery planner)

Lesson planner (Guide on how each lecture needs to be planned and delivered)
Lecture delivery Presentation/Notes (should be interactive considering online delivery as well)
Lecture Delivery:

To ensure the module assigned is delivered in the true spirit and essence of an international qualification having a blend of vocational and academic context. The faculty has to ensure through their lecture delivery they are accommodating students of all culture & ethnicity keeping in mind their barrier to communication due difference of language. A ideal lecture delivery should include but not limit the following pointers:

Deliver an interactive/engaging session
Contextualize delivery of content with respect to current practice and trends in the relevant industry
Include examples and case study to relevant field/ program/ qualification
Conduct activities (quiz/role play/competition. Etc)
Ask question to check the involvement and presence of mind during the lectures
Recap the complete session and summarise the session
Provide self-learning activities for learner after lecture hours
Miscellaneous

Training & development: To ensure the faculty are updated with the current trends and requirements of the university, certain training or courses could also be a legal/eligibility requirement of certain countries.

LMS: The university will be delivering and monitoring its program with the help of Learning Management System (LMS) faculties are expected to get themselves accustomed to use the LMS and manage the program delivery through the same

A Ph.D. or master's degree in the relevant field.
Proven experience of teaching in an academic setting or high industry eperience
Published articles and proven experience previously
Strong teaching and mentoring skills.
Excellent presentation, and written and verbal communication skills in English and French

A growth mindset and excellent networking abilities.
