Full-Stack C++ Developer

A high-tech company developing a transformative surgical robotic product that will drastically improve bone care is looking for a Full-Stack C++ Developer. The developer will help design, develop and handle the control software of the surgical system. The company will be dominating the large and growing orthopedic medical device market through their revolutionary product. Job Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the engineering and clinical teams to gather the design criteria
• Report and understand the behavior and limitations of the mechanism and the control software through analysis and experimentation
• Consult with the mechanical design team to design and optimize the control software for enhanced performance and safety
• Fine-tune the algorithms to better control the behavior of the mechanism
• Carry out risk analysis and enforce safety algorithms
• Maintain detailed documentation of risks, requirements, and test protocols to support requests for approval by regulatory agencies such as the FDA

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a full-stack C++ developer
• High-level proficiency in C++ and MATLAB programming
• Well-versed with hardware, software, and mechanism integration
• Experience with classical and modern servo control systems
• Strong understanding of robot kinematics
• Familiarity with electrical and mechanical design principles
• Knowledge of Qt would be a plus
• Self-driven and able to execute with limited supervision
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
