Role Summary
Astra Tech is seeking a seasoned Senior Fullstack Developer to join our high-performing engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of building scalable backend systems and crafting engaging, responsive web interfaces. You will play a key role in the continued innovation of our Botim app, delivering world-class digital experiences to users across the UAE and beyond.
Key Requirements
- Develop and maintain fullstack web applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or React and Node.js.
- Architect and build robust backend systems with a strong focus on performance and scalability.
- Create visually appealing and responsive front-end interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
- Integrate and consume RESTful APIs to support dynamic application functionality.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
- Design and implement complex and high-performance SQL queries.
- Perform rigorous testing using frameworks like Mocha, Chai, or Jest to ensure application stability.
- Participate in code reviews, offering constructive feedback and promoting knowledge sharing across the team.
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, optimizing code for efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Manage version control using Git, ensuring well-structured commit histories and smooth team collaboration.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 4 years of professional experience working within the JavaScript ecosystem.
- Strong proficiency in Vue.js or React, with deep expertise in building dynamic user interfaces.
- Advanced knowledge of Node.js, including hands-on experience with production-level applications.
- Solid foundation in HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- In-depth understanding and experience working with REST APIs.
- Strong proficiency in SQL with the ability to write complex, optimized queries.
- Strong understanding of design patterns, user interface principles, and application architecture.
- Demonstrated ability to ship high-quality, production-ready applications.
