Job Description

We are seeking several part-time Fundraising Consultants to join our team and be responsible for raising funds from institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices on behalf of the healthcare start-ups on our platform. They will play a critical role in securing the necessary capital to support our start-up partners growth and strategic initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully raising funds from institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices, with deep knowledge of the financial markets, investment landscape, and start-up ecosystem. This is a part-time position that requires excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

Your role

  • Develop and implement fundraising strategies to raise capital from institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices on behalf of the different healthcare start-ups listed on our platform
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential investors, including conducting outreach, scheduling meetings, and making presentations
  • Be able to properly market and sell investment opportunities in the healthcare industry that have already been endorsed by physicians
  • Conduct thorough due diligence on prospective investors, including researching their investment preferences, risk appetite, and financial capabilities
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of investor interactions and activities in a CRM system
  • Be prepared to update the VentureBlick Leadership Team on your activities and progress in a once-per-week meeting
  • Stay abreast of market trends, industry news, and regulatory changes that may impact fundraising efforts

Who You Are

  • Extensive local network of institutional investors, accredited investors, and family offices
  • Holds all of the required licenses and certifications in order to carry out the responsibilities of this role within the UAE
  • Proven experience as a financial services professional with a successful track record of raising funds
  • Deep understanding of local financial markets, investment products, and industry regulations within the UAE
  • Although not required, at least some understanding of the nuances of the healthcare industry would be a big plus
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate complex investment concepts and start-up value propositions to a wide range of audiences
  • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to establish and maintain trust with potential investors and start-up partners
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct in all business dealings
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity
