Key Responsibilities
General Practice
- Conduct medical consultations, physical examinations, and health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Prescribe medications and develop evidence-based treatment plans.
- Order, interpret, and review laboratory and diagnostic investigations.
- Provide preventive healthcare, vaccinations, and wellness counseling.
- Refer patients to specialists when clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient medical records.
- Ensure continuity of care through appropriate follow-up consultations.
Aesthetic Services
- Perform non-surgical aesthetic procedures within the scope of the DOH Aesthetic Privilege, including:
- Botox injections
- Dermal fillers
- PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma)
- Mesotherapy
- Skin boosters
- Chemical peels
- Microneedling
- Laser treatments (where privileged)
- Thread lifting (where privileged)
- Assess patients and recommend individualized aesthetic treatment plans.
- Explain treatment options, risks, expected outcomes, and post-procedure care.
- Monitor patients during and after procedures and manage any complications appropriately.
- Ensure all aesthetic procedures are performed in accordance with clinical and infection control standards.
Clinical Governance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with DOH regulations, healthcare standards, and clinical protocols.
- Adhere to infection prevention and control guidelines.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical medical practice.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education.
- Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and administrative staff to deliver an exceptional patient experience.
- Support clinic objectives by maintaining high standards of patient care and satisfaction.
Qualifications
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by the Department of Health (DOH).
- Valid DOH License as a General Practitioner.
- DOH Aesthetic Privilege (mandatory).
- Certification or training in Aesthetic Medicine is preferred.
Experience
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a General Practitioner.
- At least 1–2 years of hands-on experience performing aesthetic procedures.
- Experience in aesthetic clinics, cosmetic medical centers, dermatology clinics, or multi-specialty healthcare facilities is preferred.
