Qualifications:
- At least High School Graduate
- Previous experience as a Salon Assistant or Hair Assistant preferred.
- Basic knowledge of haircare, coloring, and styling techniques (training provided).
- Certificate or diploma in Hairdressing or Cosmetology (an advantage).
- Strong teamwork, communication, and organizational skills.
- Professional, well-groomed, and service-oriented.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
- Keen interest in learning and growing within the hair and beauty industry
Task Description:
- Assist senior hairdressers with hair washing, conditioning, towel wrapping, scalp and hairtreatments.
- Prepare clients for services including haircuts, coloring, blow-drying, and styling.
- Prepare pre-service & post-service required products, hair color formulas and treatment products as instructed by stylists.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the hair stations, tools, and back bar area.
- Sanitize and properly store all tools and equipment after use.
- Provide clients with beverages or assistance as needed to ensure comfort during their visit.
- Learn and stay updated on basic hairstyling techniques and salon procedures.
- Uphold salon hygiene, safety, and service standards at all times.
- Support stylists during busy periods to ensure efficient client flow.
