Job Description

The Head of Back Office Operations will lead and manage the end-to-end operations of POS & E-Commerce Acceptance, E-Commerce integrations in fintech, POS staging, maintenance, and warehouse management. This role includes overseeing field support and operational vendor management, ensuring efficient shared services across multiple markets, driving business growth, and maintaining full compliance with key regulatory KPIs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategies to enhance POS acceptance, E-Commerce integrations in fintech, staging, maintenance, and warehouse operations in alignment with business objectives.
  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for supply chain, inventory control, and infrastructure maintenance.
  • Ensure operational efficiency, process automation, and cost optimization across warehousing, staging, and distribution of POS terminals and e-commerce integration components.
  • Standardize operational best practices to ensure seamless execution and efficiency across markets.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to minimize downtime, enhance service quality, and improve operational performance.
  • Oversee inventory control, stock movement, and logistics to ensure optimal device and integration component availability and allocation.
  • Implement best practices in warehouse operations, including tracking systems and security measures to prevent losses.
  • Ensure effective forecasting and demand planning for POS devices, e-commerce integration hardware/software, accessories, and spare parts.
  • Oversee POS device preparation, software configuration, and readiness for deployment to merchants and e-commerce partners.
  • Develop preventive maintenance programs and ensure timely servicing of POS terminals and integration systems.
  • Implement robust monitoring mechanisms for device replacements, repairs, and integration performance.
  • Manage third-party vendors for POS supply, maintenance, logistics, and e-commerce integration support, ensuring contractual compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, data security standards, and operational policies.
  • Monitor and report on regulatory KPIs to governing bodies in a timely manner.
  • Define and track operational KPIs to measure efficiency, service quality, and performance.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational processes and support business growth in both POS and e-commerce channels.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, fintech partners, and external vendors.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in high-volume operations within fintech, financial services, or payments.
  • Proven expertise in POS operations, E-Commerce integrations, supply chain, and inventory management.
  • Strong understanding of logistics, maintenance processes, and process automation.
  • Experience with financial management, cost control, and operational budgeting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Solid knowledge of regulatory compliance, risk management, and payment industry standards.
