Job Summary
We are seeking experienced
HSE / Safety Officers with proven Gulf Oil & Gas experience to join major Onshore and Offshore Oil & Gas projects in the UAE. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies, ensuring compliance with international safety standards, conducting risk assessments, and promoting a strong safety culture across project sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices.
- Ensure compliance with client, company, and statutory HSE regulations.
- Conduct regular site safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Monitor high-risk activities and ensure appropriate control measures are in place.
- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and prepare detailed reports.
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure safe execution of construction, maintenance, fabrication, installation, and commissioning activities.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with permit-to-work systems.
- Maintain HSE documentation, reports, and safety records.
- Promote a proactive safety culture across all project activities.
Minimum Qualifications
- Diploma in Safety, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline.
- NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) is mandatory.
- Internationally recognized First Aid Certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Experience Requirements
Onshore Projects- Minimum 6 years of HSE experience in any industry.
- At least 3 years of experience in Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects involving:
- Construction
- Fabrication
- Installation
- Commissioning
- Operations / Production
Offshore Projects- Minimum 6 years of offshore HSE experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in Offshore Oil & Gas projects involving:
- Satellite Wellheads
- Process Complex Facilities
- Artificial Islands
- Unmanned Wellhead Towers (WHTs)
- Jack-up Barges
- Marine Construction & Maintenance Projects
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong knowledge of HSE regulations, standards, and best practices in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Experience in Permit-to-Work (PTW) systems and risk assessment methodologies.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Familiarity with emergency response procedures and incident investigation.

Mandatory Requirements
- GCC Oil & Gas experience is mandatory.
- Onshore and Offshore experience will be preferred.
- Valid original passport.
- Updated CV/Resume.
- Experience certificates supporting Gulf Oil & Gas employment.
