Stolway is a rapidly growing company supplying customised HVAC equipment to the oil and gas industry.
We are currently seeking an experienced HVAC engineer responsible for HVAC/refrigeration equipment design in collaboration with an international cross-functional team. The role is ideal for candidates looking for fast career growth within an agile and dynamic company.
Role Responsibilities:
- Design customised industrial HVAC units, including both refrigeration and airside design, ensuring compliance with project specifications and hazardous area standards (ATEX/IECEx).
- Independently Perform design selections for key HVAC components (compressors, heat exchangers, refrigerant devices etc).
- Prepare design documentation, and BOMs to support manufacturing and procurement.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional team to align design with production and client requirements.
- Provide design input during project execution and commissioning phases; drive improvements in system performance and reliability.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Refrigeration Engineering.
- 10 years experience in customised industrial HVAC/Refrigeration EQUIPMENT design, ideally within oil & gas.
- Capability to independently design full refrigeration systems up to 150kW capacity (without the use of company based selection software)
- Experience with packaged HVAC design.
- Knowledge of ATEX/IECEx certification standards.
- Experience with design of systems above 150kW is highly valued.
- Experience with design of large chillers/screw compressors is highly valued.
- Experience supporting manufacturing or commissioning is preferred.
