The HVAC Technician is responsible for the operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of all heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and ventilation systems throughout the hotel. The role ensures all guest rooms, public areas, restaurants, back-of-house facilities, and critical equipment operate efficiently to provide maximum guest comfort while maintaining safety, energy efficiency, and brand standards.

Job Description

• Perform preventive maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems and components.
• Service chillers, AHUs, FCUs, FAHUs, VRF/VRV, split units, package units, and ventilation systems.
• Maintain refrigeration equipment, cold rooms, and kitchen cooling systems.
• Respond promptly to guest room HVAC maintenance requests.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any abnormalities.
• Carry out refrigerant leak detection, recovery, and charging in compliance with regulations.
• Complete daily inspections, maintenance logs, and work orders.
• Ensure compliance with hotel safety, health, and environmental standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops, and work areas.
• Support energy conservation initiatives and efficient equipment operation.
• Coordinate with contractors and assist the Engineering team as required.
• Be available for emergency repairs and shift duties as required.
