Incident Response Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Incident Response Consultant for a 12 month extendable contract (3 year Project)

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in incident response, threat hunting, digital forensics, and malware analysis. The successful candidate will work with our clients to investigate and respond to security incidents, analyze digital evidence, and identify potential threats. Additionally, they will provide recommendations to improve the overall security posture of the organization.

Responsibilities:

. Conduct incident response investigations for clients
. Perform digital forensics and malware analysis on compromised systems
. Conduct threat hunting activities to identify potential threats
. Provide recommendations to improve the overall security posture of the organization
. Collaborate with other members of the incident response team
. Develop and deliver incident response and digital forensics training to clients
. Create and maintain incident response and digital forensics documentation

Requirements:

. Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field
. GCFA, GHIC, GCFE, GCFR, GNFA certifications
. Relevant industry certifications focused on threat hunting, digital forensics, or malware analysis
. Extensive experience in incident response and digital forensics
. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Skills:

. Experience with incident response management tools and platforms
. Experience with network and host-based intrusion detection systems
. Understanding of threat intelligence and its application in incident response
. Knowledge of relevant laws and regulations related to incident response and digital forensics
