Information Technology - Computer Operator Officer

Job Purpose:

To perform as a Computer Operator for daily operations and control of hostand peripheral computer systems using standardoperating procedures that deliver application systems and communicationnetworks to all branches and departments.
Accountabilities:
a)Computer Operations: Operate computing and communications systems strictly followingschedules standards and procedures ensuring service level objectives of departmentsare met accurately and timely.
b)Data Files Management: Upload / download data files from/to host systems usingappropriate mechanisms for all financial transaction and reporting requirements
c)Report Generation: Provideperiodic computerized reports to all GDUs and ensure production and security ofall critical Bank information
d)Special Reports: Producemicrofiche reports and provide duplicate copies to all branches upon request.Prepare statistical reports for all host applications showing on-lineavailability and batch completion on a daily basis

Generic Accountabilities:
e)Corporate Governance: Ensure compliance to all Operational & Risk policiesprocedures by minimizing error ratios and customer frauds
f)AML Compliance: Ensurecompliance to AML policies & procedures while carrying out jobaccountabilities
g)Control-M Monitoring: Monitor and run all the new control-Mautomation jobs.

Education / Qualifications:
Diploma in Computer Operation studies / equivalent IT advance diploma / Certificate
Knowledge: Goodknowledge of Computer Operations
Experience: 2 3 years in a similar role
