Job Summary;
The Internal Communication & Engagement Section Head is responsible for developing and executing the organization's internal communication and employee engagement strategy to strengthen organizational culture, enhance employee experience, and reinforce company values. The role oversees internal communication channels, engagement initiatives, employer branding campaigns, recognition programs, internship programs, and career events while ensuring alignment with the organization's strategic objectives and People & Culture initiatives.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's internal communication and employee engagement strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Manage all internal communication channels, ensuring timely, consistent, and engaging communication across the organization.
- Lead the planning and execution of employee engagement initiatives, culture campaigns, recognition programs, and corporate events.
- Develop communication plans supporting organizational changes, business initiatives, and People & Culture programs.
- Measure employee engagement levels through surveys, feedback mechanisms, and engagement activities, recommending initiatives to enhance employee experience.
- Develop and manage the organization's internship programs, coordinating with universities, educational institutions, and business units to attract and develop emerging talent.
- Plan, coordinate, and represent the organization at employment fairs, career events, and employer branding activities to strengthen the company's market presence and support talent acquisition efforts.
- Manage and coordinate all in-kind employee benefits and recognition initiatives, ensuring timely planning, communication, and distribution in collaboration with relevant internal stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and oversee the annual People & Culture and Employee Engagement Calendar, ensuring all employee initiatives, engagement activities, corporate events, awareness campaigns, recognition programs, and key HR milestones are effectively planned, communicated, and executed.
- Collaborate with People & Culture, and Corporate Marketing to strengthen employer branding and employee experience.
- Develop communication materials, including newsletters, announcements, presentations, videos, digital content, and other internal communication assets.
- Manage internal branding initiatives that promote the organization's vision, mission, values, culture, and employee value proposition.
- Monitor communication effectiveness and employee engagement metrics, preparing reports and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with external vendors supporting employee engagement initiatives.
- In addition to any other tasks assigned by the direct manager.
Job Qualifications and Requirements
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, Mass Communication, or related field.
- Previous Experience:
- 8-10 years of experience in Internal Communication, Employee Engagement, Corporate Communications, Human Resources, or Organizational Development.
- Experience leading employee engagement initiatives and employer branding programs within large organizations is highly preferred.
- Special requirements:
- Strong knowledge of internal communications, employee engagement, employer branding, and corporate culture initiatives.
- Proven experience managing corporate events, employee engagement programs, internship programs, and career fairs.
- Excellent communication, content development, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong project management, planning, and organizational abilities.
- Creative mindset with the ability to develop innovative employee engagement initiatives.
