Intellectual Property Lawyer 5–7 PQE
A leading international law firm is seeking a commercially minded Senior Associate to join its highly regarded Intellectual Property team in Dubai. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a broad mix of IP, commercial, and technology matters across the Middle East, advising on complex, cross-border issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advising on the protection and enforcement of intellectual property rights, including trade marks, copyright, and design rights
- Drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, including licensing, technology, and outsourcing contracts
- Supporting clients on digital, technology, and data-related regulatory matters
- Handling IP disputes, including infringement, oppositions, and enforcement actions
- Advising on brand strategy, portfolio management, and multi-jurisdictional issues
Candidate Profile:
- 5–7 years PQE with experience in intellectual property, technology, or commercial law
- Exposure to trade marks, commercial contracts, and/or digital regulation
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
- Commercially aware, adaptable, and collaborative
