Junior Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant with a minimum of 2 years of experience to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and assist with financial reporting while ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow activities.
• Prepare journal entries and support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and management reports.
• Process invoices, expense claims, and payment requests accurately and on time.
• Support VAT documentation and ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations.
• Maintain organized financial records and assist during internal and external audits.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve accounting-related queries.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software or ERP systems.
• Familiarity with UAE VAT regulations is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
