This role is essential to managing project timelines, cross-functional coordination, and successful project execution. We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Lighting Design & Development Lead to spearhead the design, development, and delivery of automotive lighting systems from concept to production.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System Key Identify opportunities for new products.

Lead project planning, execution, and delivery in line with business and customer requirements.

Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders for seamless project execution.

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations to ensure efficiency.

Identify potential risks and implement mitigation strategies.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and Aspireli s quality benchmarks.

Prepare and present project status reports to senior management.

Foster cross-functional collaboration to improve project workflows.

Experience with adaptive front lighting, ADB systems, or ambient lighting personalization.

Exposure to smart lighting, connected vehicle platforms, or software-driven light animations.

Prior experience in setting up a lighting team or function from scratch.

Proven track record in delivering engineering projects from initiation to completion.

Experience working with international teams and suppliers.

Lead the end-to-end development of automotive lighting products (headlamps, tail lamps, DRLs, ambient lighting, logo projections, etc.) from concept to SOP.

Own design architecture, including optical, mechanical, and electronic systems integration.

Drive concept ideation, design feasibility, and PoC development for new lighting innovations.

Lead optical design & simulation (e.g., using LucidShape, LightTools, or SPEOS) and ensure compliance with photometric and regulatory standards (ECE, SAE, FMVSS).

Guide the team in material selection, thermal management, and packaging design tailored for automotive environments.

Collaborate closely with the electronics, styling, and validation teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Liaise with OEMs, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to align technical requirements and ensure program delivery milestones are met.

Define and track DFMEA, DVP, and validation plans for lighting systems.

Drive innovation in energy efficiency (LED, OLED, Laser-based systems), smart lighting (ADB, Matrix), and connected lighting technologies.

Ensure design-for-manufacturing (DFM) and support tool development, prototyping, and industrialization.

Exceptional project management and cross-functional leadership skills.

Passion for luxury design, innovation, and automotive aesthetics.

Strong leadership and project management abilities.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, Primavera, Jira, or similar).

Risk assessment and problem-solving capabilities.

We are in search for a suitable team member who is into automotive parts

development. Experienced into vehicle parts development for both aesthetic & utility products will be an ideal candidate.

Responsibilities:

1.Coordinate with the Product Development team to finalize product ideas.

2.Check product installation feasibility and prepare design of the product accordingly.

3.Convert Images or Sketches or Drawings to 3D model.

4.Create 3D model based on the scan data (Mesh file / STL File).

5.Convert 3D simulation to Actual Engineered Product including A surface & B surface creation.

6.Create detailed 2D Drawings as per Automotive industry standards and customer requirements.

7.Define Product Material of each kit components.

8.Prepare Installation Manual of the products.

9.Justify the design performance with the help of CAD tools. For e.g.FEA Analysis

Skills:

1.Understanding of Automotive Interior and Exterior Parts Engineering and installation.

2.Understanding of Automotive Standards and Regulations.

3.Able to do Reverse Engineering from Scan data or physical part. (Mesh to CAD /STL to STP or IGES).

4.Knowledge of materials (Plastics and Metal) and its manufacturing processes.

5.Able to predict expected failures in production or on field and manage to make changes during design phase.
