Job Description: Director, Commercial Finance

Position Overview

Aikho is recruiting on behalf of one of its clients, a leading telecommunications company based in Dubai, for a Senior Manager/Director, Commercial & Finance.

The Director, Commercial Finance will serve as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, driving financial performance across commercial operations. This role is responsible for leading financial planning, analysis, and decision support for revenue-generating activities, ensuring profitability, sustainable growth, and alignment with corporate objectives.

Key Responsi bilities

Strategic Leadership

Partner with senior executives to shape commercial strategy and pricing models.

Provide financial insights to support market expansion, product launches, and customer negotiations.

Lead scenario planning and business case development for new opportunities.

Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A)

Oversee forecasting, budgeting, and long-range planning for commercial divisions.

Monitor revenue streams, margins, and cost structures to optimize profitability.

Develop KPIs and dashboards to track commercial performance.

Commercial Decision Support

Guide contract structuring, deal economics, and risk assessment.

Support sales and business development teams with financial modeling and pricing strategies.

Evaluate ROI of marketing, partnerships, and promotional initiatives.

Develop and maintain Salesforce dashboards to provide real-time visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, and revenue trends.

Governance & Compliance

Ensure adherence to financial policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Strengthen internal controls across commercial transactions.

Collaborate with audit and legal teams to mitigate risks.

Team Leadership

Build and mentor a high-performing finance team.

Foster a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Drive cross-functional collaboration between finance, sales, marketing, and operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certification (CPA, CFA, ACCA) preferred.

10+ years of progressive finance experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.

Strong expertise in commercial finance, pricing, and deal structuring.

Proven track record of influencing executive decision-making and driving profitable growth.

Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Experience in multinational or complex business environments is highly desirable.

Hands-on experience with Salesforce reporting and dashboard development is a strong advantage.
