Bringing Technology to life

As a Material Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Participating to the delivery of the spare parts at Site, identifying discrepancies and defects.

  • Advicing on PARTS database population in CMMS by customer.

  • Raising Parts requests in CMMS and expedite Parts procurement.

  • Keeping record of types, quantities, dates of manufacture of Parts currently held in Stock including identification of expired parts and suggest corrective actions for the re-conditioning

    of deteriorated or damaged spare parts.

  • Recommending on preservation procedures and inform CUSTOMER regarding the quality of preservation and storage of PARTS in general.

  • Inspecting parts in stock periodically, and/or while collected from the stock for an operation, either onshore or offshore, and notify customer for any visible defect, possibly activate maintenance of the concerned parts, especially capital parts.

  • Providing counselling for possible optimization of the stock including types and numbers of strategic spares.

  • Collaborating with customer warehouse keeper in the preparation of PARTS and tools necessary for a maintenance event, and the shipment of such material back to CUSTOMER warehouse after usage.

  • Participating to outage preparation process: provide a stock report 18 months before a planned maintenance event, supporting the requisition of parts for Planned outage,

  • Monitoring the arrival of parts, and update customer about the stock replenishment status.

  • In case of an Unplanned maintenance event, perform stock assessment and provide support to the customer for the provision of needed parts at site.

  • Conducting or arranging relevant training for warehouse keepers.

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor degree or relevant.
  • Have more than 5 years of experience in the management of inventory.
  • Have good knowledge of the mechanical aspects of the entire machinery.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and work in harmony.

  • Have good communication skills (verbal and written) in English.

  • Be able to work under pressure for extended hours.
